because i’ve been doing it for so long, lots of people assume this has always been my plan. well as much as i wish that were true, it’s not. photography was ALWAYS just a hobby for me.

that’s because i’ve never looked at photography as a job, it’s my art. it’s my passion. it’s my love.

now that i have actually had the opportunity to do photography full-time i am honestly living the dream. but that being said, you are not just a client to me. you are not just a number. you are my muse. you are the inspiration for the paint on my canvas.

I like to think of getting your portraits taken as the same type of self care as a facial or a manicure. It isn’t always a necessity, but it’s important to show yourself some appreciation sometimes.

during your session i want you to feel like you’re being captured intentionally. you are the it girl. the main character. — i want you to feel like this is the “might as well be a vogue photoshoot” experience.

I want us to take time to get to know each other, get comfortable, and get intentional. we get to experiment to create the perfect shots & have so much fun along the way!

Engagement sessions are oh so important. For starters it gives us chance to connect and get to know each other prior to your big day. Along with that, it’s such a valuable time in the history of your relationship & i love taking the opportunity to document these precious moments of such an exciting part of it.
